My Comments: Firstly I just want to thank Fi for (a) letting me play with her creation (b) being so supportive over the
months it took to make this and (c) giving me an incredible amount of freedom.
I wanted to do this vid for a couple of reasons... firstly, just to see if I could pull it off. The main challenge was to make the Luthors into a vampire family in a video context, and hopefully do it half as well as Fiona has in her writing. One thing I love about the fic is that there are different sides to it: the Luthors are both kind and ruthless, the fic is both light and dark, the chlex is hot yet surpressed - I loved playing with the contrast, as well as putting in a little history to the
Luthors. "It was like they had always been there" is the first line of the fic, and I took the opportunity to explore this. Plus, it gave me the chance to devise some
'vampish' special effects...
Secondly, I guess I just wanted to indulge my love of the fic. Hopefully the end result will show my appreciation to Fi for the world she has created...
The original concept was to do a shorter version, about 2 minutes long, and do it in the style of a movie trailer. It soon became clear that, when I had 20 minutes of good source material to work with, my time constraints weren't going to work. So, I decided to re-mix the song and gave myself 4 minutes to play with. It's still a little
trailer-esque which was my intention, and hopefully you'll be able to recognise specific scenes from the fic when you watch it, not to mention meet Oliver face-to-face!! Not only that, but maybe get a glimpse of things to come...
For those of you who haven't read the fic, don't worry, this can still be
viewed as a standalone 'concept' video.

undeniable talent in vid making to my story. She has truly brought the story
to life (or unlife in this case) and in particular the Luthors as a Vampire
family. You will be amazed at the Vamp effects she has incorporated into

vid for the work of art it is And for those of you that have been reading it
I hope you can pick out some scenes from the story that appear in the vid.
Sanguis is an obsession to me, 90+ chapters posted and many many more to go
before its finished and the support from everyone who reads it and leaves
feedback is greatly appreciated. So when Becky approached me about making a vid
I didnt even have to think about it, yes was always going to be the answer.
I am very curious to hear what people say about it, and nobody has to even ask,
Becky is more than welcome to make as many vids as she likes.
